¶ Locations
In Qwix, locations are used to define a hierarchical structure of logical/physical areas where Bins (required for stock) can be linked to. Locations often refer to different Warehouses and areas within warehouses. See Locations & Bins for more information
¶ ADD
| CODE | The UNIQUE code for the location |
| DESCRIPTION | A Lonnger Description for the Location |
| WH REFERENCE | An external reference as used by the ERP system |
| PARENT | If this Location is related to another Location. Select the Parent Location here. |
Once the values have been populated, use the Save button, and the new Location will be created.
¶ EDIT
The EDIT action takes the same parameters as the ADD action. Select a Location and use the EDIT action to change any of the parameter values for the selected Location. Click Save to apply the changes.
¶ REMOVE
CAUTION
The Remove Action is used to Delete an existing Location. This action is irreversible, so be careful. Once you click the action, and Accept the confirmation prompt, the Location will be permanently deleted.
