¶ Bin Types
In Qwix, bin types are properties of bins. They define the logical type for bins. The bin type allows for the categorisation of bins, it is also the bin type that defines if a bin is a pickable bin (pickface). See Locations & Bins for more information.
¶ ADD
| NAME | The UNIQUE name for the bin type |
| PICKABLE | When checked, the bin type allows picking from it. |
Once the values have been populated, use the Save button, and the new Bin type will be created.
¶ EDIT
The EDIT action takes the same parameters as the ADD action. Select a Bin type and use the EDIT action to change any of the parameter values for the selected type. Click Save to apply the changes.
¶ REMOVE
CAUTION
The Remove Action is used to Delete an existing Bin type. This action is irreversible, so be careful. Once you click the action, and Accept the confirmation prompt, the Bin type will be permanently deleted.
