The Dashboard designer is a key feature of the Qwix framework. It allows dashboards to be created, and linked directly within the Web Portal. No external tools are required. The Dashboard component used is created by Devxpress.
To access the dashboard designer, you need to have purchased the dashboard designer module. and you need to have administrator privileges in Qwix.
You may access the Dashboard designer by clicking on the user icon (top right of window)
After this, you may open and edit an existing report, or create a new report.

A Datasource is the information source for a dashboard. you may reference multiple data sources in a single dashboard.

The Qwix Framework can pass built-in parameter values to the Dashboard. This will automatically update the parameter values, and not prompt the user for the value.

The Dashboard Designer uses a WYSIWYG tool, which allows you to see the actual layout of the dashboard as you design it, it also allows for quick previews within the designer to test drive your dashboards.
